Shipping & handling

All orders are handled with care to ensure your research materials arrive intact and in full compliance with research-grade handling standards.

Dispatch time

Orders are processed and dispatched within 48 hours of payment confirmation, Monday through Friday (excluding federal holidays). Orders placed after 12:00 PM EST on Friday are dispatched the following Monday.

Domestic shipping (United States)

We ship to all 50 U.S. states via USPS or FedEx. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your order and destination.

  • Free shipping on orders of $150.00 or more
  • Carrier options (USPS or FedEx) and rates are presented at checkout
  • Estimated delivery: 3–7 business days after dispatch

International shipping

At this time, Prototides ships exclusively within the 50 United States. We do not offer international shipping or delivery to U.S. territories, APO/FPO addresses, or P.O. boxes. Orders placed from outside the United States will not be fulfilled.

We appreciate your interest and encourage international customers to check back as we evaluate expanded shipping in the future.

Packaging

All compounds are shipped as lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder in sealed glass vials. Packaging is designed to maintain structural and chemical integrity throughout transit. Each shipment includes:

  • Tamper-evident sealed vials
  • Protective cushioning to prevent breakage
  • Lot number on label for documentation verification

Tracking

A tracking number is provided via email once your order ships. You can track your shipment through the carrier’s website or contact [email protected] for assistance.

Receiving & storage

Upon receipt, transfer lyophilized compounds to appropriate storage immediately:

  • Short-term storage: −20 °C, protected from light
  • Long-term storage: −80 °C recommended
  • Do not reconstitute until ready to use

Damaged or lost shipments

If your order arrives damaged or is lost in transit, contact [email protected] within 7 days of the expected delivery date. Please retain all original packaging for carrier claims.
