Why we exist
Built because the alternative wasn’t acceptable.
A research-grade supplier built on a single principle: if a number can’t be verified, it doesn’t belong on the label.
Prototides started as a frustration with the rest of the research-compound market: suppliers who’d quote a purity number with nothing behind it, COAs that arrived after the order shipped, batch records that didn’t survive a follow-up email. For a researcher evaluating material, an unverifiable number isn’t a convenience — it’s a liability.
Prototides exists to remove that liability. Every lot is tested before it’s listed, not after it’s questioned. We operate out of California, and the same person who reviews a lot’s documentation is the person who answers when you write in with a question about it.
